Privacy statement

We are Renske and Tim, and we run AmsterdamBB on houseboat Kadans, Levantkade 174, 1019 BG Amsterdam. We only use your data to host you well. We never sell it.
What we keep
When you book: your name, email address, phone number, country, dates and number of guests. When you write to us: your name, email address and message. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
Why we keep it
To confirm and manage your booking, to send you the guest guide and check-in details, to charge the balance 7 days before arrival, and to meet our legal duties as a registered B&B (tourist tax and the guest register).
Who else sees it
Lodgify (our booking calendar), Stripe (payments) and, only if you allow it, Google Analytics (anonymous page statistics). They process data on our behalf and under their own privacy terms.
Cookies and analytics
This site works without cookies. Google Analytics only loads after you click Accept in the banner, and you can choose Decline just as easily.
How long we keep it
Booking records for as long as Dutch tax law requires (seven years). Messages for up to two years after our last contact.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time. Email hello@amsterdambb.com and we will reply within a month. You can also contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
