Tram 1 runs from right by our island straight to Leidseplein, next to Paradiso and Melkweg. About 28 minutes there, and it runs until after midnight on the way back. Home is the Boatsuite on houseboat Kadans.
Where to stay for a concert at Paradiso or Melkweg?
Paradiso and Melkweg are both at Leidseplein in the city centre. From AmsterdamBB on KNSM Island, tram 1 takes you there without changing: about 28 minutes door to door. By bike it is 18 minutes. Going home, tram 1 from Leidseplein runs until about 00:36, and the Boatsuite has its own front door.

- Walk 7 minutes to tram stop Azartplein.
- Take tram 1 all the way to Leidseplein.
- Paradiso is a short walk away, Melkweg is just around the corner.
Getting back after the show
- Walk back to tram stop Leidseplein.
- Take tram 1 towards Azartplein. The last one leaves around 00:36.
- Get off at Azartplein and walk 7 minutes home.
Missed the last one? After the last tram, night buses get you home via Central Station. A taxi takes about 26 minutes, or cycle home in 21.
