We are Renske and Tim, and we live on houseboat Kadans on KNSM Island in Amsterdam with our daughter Coco. Kadans is our home. The [Boatsuite in the bow](https://amsterdambb.com/en/the-boatsuite) is where we welcome guests from all over the world, with tips from people who live here.

Together with our daughter Coco we live on Kadans, a 40-metre Spits. This type of cargo barge was built to fit exactly in the locks of the Belgian and French canals. We transformed her into our home on [KNSM Island](https://amsterdambb.com/en/knsm-island). The Boatsuite in the bow is where we welcome guests from all over the world.

We are true water people. We love to dive, kite and cruise the Amsterdam canals, and we swim every day, jumping in straight from our boat.

We designed the suite ourselves, down to the raised bed under the skylight and the flowers on the shelf. We love hosting, showing our guests around and sharing the best of Amsterdam.
